Two Beauties!

I have to delay my big news for a couple of weeks...so stay tuned! It's exciting stuff. Just need to fine tune some things.

In the meantime, here's what an early morning studio session looks like at Flowerwild. Wild flowers, wild girlie! She's quite the little helper and I love her sooooo much.
P.S. 2010 is booking up VERY QUICKLY so I urge you Flowerwild lovers to set up your consultation with us soon! I want to meet you and talk flowers!!!!

Ehiku and Ingo wed - Peanut too!

Some clients are just RAD.( I pulled that word out of an old box from 1993) But it's the darn truth. Ehiku and Ingo were wed in Malibu, cliff-side, then had everyone back to their place for the party. Doing these flowers was so effortless and easy because Ehiku was so relaxed. She completely entrusted me with the design of the whole day.
I should have the professional shots soon...my own images will have to do for now. Love the look of the long terracotta pots down the raw wood tables. Missing these garden roses SO right now.

Featured on Junebug Weddings

Starting to panic as I realize Christmas is about a month away! But there are lots of good things happening here. My little Alice is chatting up a storm and now will say "luv you!" among a myriad of other things. She is currently perusing the pages of the latest InStyle weddings mag, all cozied up next to me. She digs the diamonds.
Speaking of diamonds - check out this jewel of a piece on a wedding we did back in June with the lovely Mindy Weiss. Photographed by JLG Studios. Our new friends at Junebug weddings decided to feature it! Woo hoo!!!! See the posts here and here.
I have some big announcements coming soon so be sure to follow in the coming weeks...

Napa wedding - Images by Jose Villa!

I have been showing you bits and pieces of this wedding for some time now. Recently got these precious jewels of imagery back from Jose Villa. Again, this one is being submitted for publication so I can just give you a glimpse of what we did. Lots of other pretty details to come later. I just discovered my new-found crush on amaryllis. So often I dismiss them as a holiday flower. But they are so wildy beautiful. Everything about this wedding was intoxicatingly pretty. Is that a word? Oh what the heck - you know what I mean.

The Bridesmaids' posies of Apricot Nectar and ranunculas.

Her bouquet....a ruffly twist of charles austin roses with some very unique hebe and coral passion vine finishing it off.

Vivid bouts.

The reception. Oh la la ths place is booootiful!

Flowerwild real wedding - Corinne and Christian

I know I'm supposed to be posting more from Carrie and Jay's wedding at San Ysidro Ranch...but I thought we should have a little intermission. Just received these gorgeous images from Susan Dean. What a talent she is!
This is a smokin' hot couple...and there is a lot of chemistry between them. I so enjoyed getting to know Corinne and felt so honored that she chose us from all the other gifted vendors she was considering. Not to mention, I heard from a number of her family members that she is quite the perfectionist and very difficult to please...and she was totally thrilled with her flowers. Yea!
They married at the majestic Santa Barbara Courthouse. And held the reception at the Biltmore in SB. Love that venue! It is so Old California romantic....looking forward to many more events there next year. Full coverage of this wedding coming soon..

An Enchanting Evening at San Ysidro Ranch

Our most favoritist wedding of the season is up on photographer Jessica Claire's website. View her sneak peek of this intimate affair here. I will post a few more of my favorites on Monday! Can't share too much as this wedding is submitted for publication...but as Jessica said...it would be a shame not to show you just a teensy weensy bit.

The bouquet of my dreams....

Husband and Wife...sigh

Planner Alexandra Kolendrianos made sure the day was flawless. And it was, like a dream.

Pumpkins!

I loooooooove Halloween! And I don't even have to spend hours sewing a costume, like my mother did back in the day. What a miracle. Pumpkins are definitely a fave of mine and now they come in so many fancy styles/shapes. We did this little piece for Sunset Magazine - and I ran across the white pumpkin image on Grey Likes Weddings and had an "oh yeah" moment. Like - those were really pretty images we did. SO I dug them up and here they are. Makes me wan to go look for the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. You can see the whole story on Sunset Magazine's site here.

Flowerwild Real Wedding - Kelly and Sean

Sundays are good when you don't have a big mess to clean up! One of first weekends without a wedding, and I'm enjoying the mellowness. A while back I posted the studio shots of this wedding. Just got the images back from Amy and Stuart! This wedding was coordinated by the lovely Rebecca of Duet Weddings. She is both a delight to work with and a super talented lady with an incredible vision. Can't recommend her highly enough. I am looking forward to working with her more in 2010. Fingers crossed!!!!
Kelly and Sean were a great couple to work with and completely trusted Rebecca and I to compose the look of the day. Fabric wrapped vases, berries, dahlias, super lush colors. I only wish we had been outdoors for the reception. Laguna was sooooo beautiful that weekend. Plus, there's the BEST mexican restaurant on PCH. Awesome Margis. We had fun from start to finish on this one.
